What prep should I do for my consultation?

It all begins with an idea. We encourage you to find inspiration before you come to sit down with us. You don’t have to have everything mapped out— you can just start with a color scheme if you’re not sure yet! If you have a Pinterest page, we ask that you attach that in an email so we can take a look before we meet!

How much can I expect to spend on my wedding flowers?

Flowers are hard to price out— that’s why everyone’s proposal is completely custom! The price will depend on the flower types, how many designs you want to see, the size of the designs, how much variety you want, and the complexity of the designs. Some of our packages have minimum spend amounts, but our A La Carte option doesn’t!

Do I have to pay a deposit?

We do ask for a retainer payment in order to secure our services. We will hold your date for a time while you’re deciding, but we can’t guarantee your wedding date will be available unless you place the retainer.

Do you work with silk flowers?

At The Petal House, we only work with fresh flowers. The benefit is that you get beautiful local blooms that smell amazing on your wedding day!

Do you offer rental items?

At this time, we offer a limited selection of rental items that can be discussed during your consultation. We help facilitate rentals through other Columbus area businesses, and in some cases we can create custom items for you.

What happens to the flowers after my wedding?

Any flowers you don’t take home with you will get evaluated and donated the following week. We are working with local organizations to bring a bit of joy to people’s day!
